Valerio Adami Information
'Italian Painter and Printmaker', Adami was born in Bologna, and by 1945 he was studying painting from Felice Carena.
Critically acclaimed and renowned exponent of "Pop Art".
He was originally an abstract artist who later found a more concentrated interest in figuration.
His works have that childish appeal to all who admire the comic strip in art form. An artist who's works are gaining even more popularity year by year.
The following Lithographs are all from Derriere Le Miroir Magazine No. 188 , dated November 1970.
We have many more examples of this Artsists work.
In the 1970s, Adami began to address politics in his art, and incorporated subject matter such as modern European history, literature, philosophy, and mythology. In 1971, he and his brother Gioncarlo created the film Vacances dans le désert.
